In Tashkent, two men were detained while receiving a parcel from China, inside of which almost 25 kg of pregabalin was found.

This was reported by the State Security Service. The operation was carried out by SSS officers together with the anti-smuggling unit of the specialized customs complex Tashkent-AERO.

The parcel contained 24 kg 974 g of pregabalin in the form of a white powder. Detained were residents of Tashkent born in 1998 and 2000. A criminal case has been opened against the men under Part 1 of Article 246 of the Criminal Code. They have been taken into custody. Investigative actions are underway.
