How we work

tafs uz is a news aggregator. We collect articles from connected publications and provide a way to read them in context. The credited publisher retains authorship of the original reporting.

Start with the original reporting

Stories show the publisher, publication time and links to originals. Several articles about the same event may be combined; each original remains in the source list. The source publication takes priority over an automatically prepared account.

AI editions and translations are labelled

AI may prepare a headline, summary, article structure or translation. Language editions are labelled as publisher editions or AI translations; editorial status is also visible in the article. This processing does not imply independent human fact-checking.

Each edition has a history

Changes to original reporting, editorial processing and translation updates may create a new revision. Stories provide both article history and selected language edition history. Update time refers to the saved edition, while publication time refers to the original story.

Translation availability is explicit

Translations may become available at different times. If the selected edition is unfinished or temporarily unavailable, a notice appears beside the story. The interface language and displayed article language may differ in this case.

Limits of automated processing

Automated summaries and translations may miss context or convey meaning inaccurately. tafs uz does not replace original reporting. Check significant details, quotations and subsequent corrections through the source links.
