Cameras have been installed on Fargona yuli street in Tashkent to monitor traffic on the dedicated 'A' lanes for public transport. The cameras cover a 6-kilometer section in both directions, and similar cameras are being gradually introduced on other streets of the capital. The lanes are meant to keep buses on schedule, as one bus can carry more than 50 passengers, and unauthorized vehicles entering the lanes may delay many passengers. From 06:00 to 23:00, vehicles without a permit are prohibited from using the 'A' lanes.
A delegation of Uzbekistan led by the deputy director of the Cultural Heritage Agency, Azizjon Aripjonov, studied the historical and cultural heritage sites of Uzbek scholars in Afghanistan and exchanged views on their preservation and restoration. The delegation visited the provinces of Balkh, Takhar, Sar-e Pol and Faryab, getting acquainted with unique architectural monuments, including the Rawzai Sharif shrine, the Bobo Rahim Mashrab pilgrimage site, the historic bridge in Sar-e Pol, the Imamzoda Yahya shrine, the Bobo Vali madrasa complex and the pool built by Alisher Navoi. At the conclusion of the negotiations, the parties agreed to analyze the collected data and sign a memorandum of mutual understanding on the protection and restoration of the monuments. In February 2023, a bas-relief depicting Alisher Navoi in Mazar-i-Sharif was damaged, and in August 2025 the monument was completely destroyed. The Taliban expressed regret and promised a new monument; later the construction of a new memorial complex named after Alisher Navoi was reported to have begun.

In the southwestern German state of Baden-Württemberg, a total of 358 so-called child marriages have been officially recorded since 2012. Only eight of these forced marriages have so far been legally annulled. According to authorities, the other 350 cases were brought to an end in other ways. This alarming finding comes from a response by the Baden-Württemberg state government to a minor inquiry submitted by AfD state parliament members Nikolaos Boutakoglou and Emely Knorr. The Tübingen region
The licenses previously granted to Saneg for the use of oil fields in Uzbekistan have been revoked because the license conditions were not fulfilled and the fields were not put into operation, said State Assets Management Agency director Sohibjon Murodov. He explained that the fields themselves were not privatized — only subsoil-use licenses were granted — and noted that the right to issue hydrocarbon licenses has been moved to auctions since 2023–2024. Saneg's website says the company holds rights to 103 oil and gas fields. The transfer of over 100 fields from Uzbekneftegaz to Jizzakh Petroleum (Saneg) in 2019 was linked to a $2.68 billion project to boost oil production, but production fell short of targets, and the transfer became an episode in a criminal case against former Uzbekneftegaz chief Bakhodirjon Sidikov, who denies the charges.

Jaume Sanpera, CEO of Spanish satellite operator Sateliot, believes Europe needs to “wake up” and avoid becoming dependent on two global power blocs. The industry, he argues, needs “a push” to help European tech companies become global champions. In such a fast-moving industry, concerns over overregulatio
A new driverless vehicle presented in the USA combines cargo delivery under fire with counter-drone capabilities. The project integrates Hypercraft's Razorback off-road vehicle, Forterra's AutoDrive autonomous driving system, and 9 Mothers' Edda anti-drone turret. The Razorback, developed in Provo, Utah, is over four meters long, carries up to 1.8 tons, has a range of nearly 800 km, and can provide up to 38 kW of power to external equipment. The 23-kg Edda turret detects small drones by rotor sound, tracks them with cameras, and engages them from a smoothbore gun at distances of 10 to 100 meters.
Cameras have been installed to monitor traffic in the dedicated public transport lanes on Fergana Yuli street in Tashkent, according to the capital's Traffic Management Center. A 6 km section in both directions has been equipped with cameras, which record violations from 6:00 to 23:00. Since May 2025, any vehicle is allowed to travel in the dedicated lanes at night. The TMC noted that cameras will be installed step by step on other streets as well to ensure the priority of public transport. The center reminded that a single bus can carry more than 50 passengers at a time, and a car obstructing a bus delays dozens of people. In February 2022, the Tashkent City Transport Department promised to make the dedicated lanes on Fergana Yuli work, but until now ordinary cars had been driving in them. Another problem is road patrol officers stopping cars in these lanes to check documents and process violations, blocking the lanes; Gazeta has repeatedly drawn attention to this and sent a request to the TMC. In the spring, deputy mayor Abdurakhmon Bakhtiyev also addressed the problem, saying that without cameras the sections cannot be made to work. A project to install cameras on buses was also reported. He emphasized that the lanes must be properly organized, as in many places they were drawn without calculations.
A junior researcher at the Shanghai Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences outlined three key tasks for permanent human habitation on Mars: reliable communication between Earth and Mars, cargo and sample transport between the planets, and sustaining human life on Mars. China plans the Tianwen-3 mission around 2028 to return Martian soil samples by about 2031. Despite harsh conditions, Mars is seen as the most achievable target beyond the Earth–Moon system.

The surgery to remove the extra legs lasted about an hour and a half, and the calf's condition quickly improved.
According to Eurostat data cited by Naked Science, the share of students with low mathematics results has increased in almost all European countries compared to 2018. In North Macedonia it rose from 61% to 68%, while in Estonia, despite the best result (17.2%), the figure worsened from 10.2%. Norway saw the sharpest decline, with the share nearly doubling from 18.9% to 38%. Turkey was the only country with a slight improvement, from 36.6% to 35.7%. PISA assesses mathematical literacy across six levels, with level two considered basic — the minimum skills needed to live and work in modern society.
