Muzaffar Qalandarov has been appointed deputy governor of Khorezm region for construction, creation of a barrier-free environment, communications, utilities, ecology and landscaping. The regional governor's office reported this.
Muzaffar Qalandarov was born in 1980 in the Hazorasp district of Khorezm region and graduated from Urgench State University in 2002.
During his career, he worked in various positions in the road sector, in particular as chief engineer of 'Xorazmavtoyol' and head of 'Azamat Xorazm maxsus qurilish' LLC, and served as deputy governor of Bogot district for construction matters.
Since 2024, he had been working as head of the Main Department of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Khorezm region.
He now takes over from Siroj Bekchanov, who had been deputy governor of Khorezm region for construction, creation of a barrier-free environment, communications, utilities, ecology and landscaping since 2023. Siroj Bekchanov has been replaced.
